3. THE WORST ISOLATION EVER

The corona-virus has caused the death of many people. All those who have been affected with the corona-virus are also instructed to self-isolate. However, the consequences for the disease of sin are much worse than self isolation!

Reasons why the consequences for the disease of sin is worse:

Firstly, the SEPARATION that sin causes. Those who have been affected with a virus might have to self-isolate for a few weeks. However, those that are affected by sin will be separated in Hell from God forever. When Jesus returns, He will righteously judge and punish those who have rejected the cure for their sin – the blessed gospel of Jesus Christ. 

2 Thessalonians 1:7-9  “...when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power”

Secondly, the SUFFERING because of sin. A corona-virus may cause a person to experience some discomfort, and perhaps in certain cases they may physically die. The corona-virus might send a person to their grave, but sin will send a person to hell, and they will forever experience eternal torment. Hell is a place of torment, and no one in hell will be able to get their essentials, not even a drop of water. 

Luke 16:23-24 “And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments...he cried...have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.” 

Friend, God loves you, and it is against His will to send you to Hell. However, if you do not fear God, and trust Jesus Christ as your own personal Saviour, you leave God no choice but to let you face the consequences of your own sin.

Matthew 10:28 “...fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”

THE CURE FOR THE GREATEST DISEASE IS THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
